All rollingstock galleries uploaded!

June 15th, 2006

This was a huge amount of files: cabooses, boxcars, hoppers, tankcars and so on, but that concludes all the old stuff from the railroad galleries I had before. Most galleries don’t have captions, but you can see a bit about each car by looking at the filename, where I’ve put the date & location if I knew it. I will probably slowly update those. I uploaded all the resent stuff last (although I’m sure I missed a few), so you can actually see the new stuff by clicking on the latest uploads. The first 12 images are all new things recently uploaded, however, I found that I missed a few as well…so have fun browsing!

Scenic photos uploaded…

June 9th, 2006

Finally got a chance to get back to my general scenery photographs. Got a lot uploaded, got quite a few more that are not, but hopefully will be in the near future.

New Locomotive Galleries & Pics…

June 6th, 2006

Finally reposted the Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific & Misc locomotive galleries. As you can see, I also got up some new Burlington Northern stuff, and a neat photo of a CB&Q E-series entering a tunnel.

Fort Worth & Denver Gallery posted…

June 2nd, 2006

Posted the FW&D gallery, complete with the infamous NW2 #605, the only switcher on the Burlington Route with the Chinese red paintscheme.

CSX Diesels back online

May 31st, 2006

Whew…this is a huge gallery. Lots of stuff. I really need to get on to putting captions on the photos, but it is such a time-consuming job. Anyone want to volunteer?
Just got back from a trip to St. Louis, so should probably have a few barn photos from that to post later this week. Missed a real good opportunity to get some pics of the Arch from the Top of the Riverfront restaurant (forgot the camera…duh).

Rate your Favorites!

May 25th, 2006

For those who may be bit unaware of how to use this gallery, I plan to post a little tutorial later on, since it can be a bit confusing with so many albums. As well, I’ll be posting some photo tips and tricks later on (no timeframe yet). At any rate, you can give photos a rating right now. When you click on a photo, you’ll see some stars right below the image. Just click on the set of stars that correspond to what you think of the photo, on a 0-5 scale, with 5 being the best.

New stuff!

May 25th, 2006

I’ve put up some new stuff this week, some racing action from Lowes motor speedway, as well as some vintage automobles and some new panoramics, such as this one of LMS.

CB&Q Diesel Galleries back online…

May 19th, 2006

The CB&Q diesel galleries are now back online, no captions on the photos yet, but if you look at the filename (by clicking on the thumbnails), it will show you the location and date if I know it.

Burlington Northern Diesel galleries back online…

May 18th, 2006

I had a request to get the BN diesel galleries back online, so here they are. No captions on the photos yet, but if you look at the filename (by clicking on the thumbnails), it will show you the location and date if I know it.

Panoramic Castles…

May 16th, 2006

Some of my favorites going up today, including a night panorama of Dryslwyn Castle. Castles look best in panoramic format, it’s usually hard to get an idea of how big they are from a regular-sized photo.
