…This last weekend was the ‘Streamliners at Spencer’ event at North Carolina Transportation Museum at Spencer, NC. Twenty-five diesels and one steam locomotive showed up for the event, and it was certainly a good one for photography. The N&W 611 streamlined steam locomotive was the steam star, it is being refurbished for operation in the next year at Spencer. Locomotives came from all over the country to be there, most of them running a few were not.
